Ottawa’s Jewel – The Tulip Festival

From May 10th through 21st millions of bloom grace almost every flower bed in the city,

Take a tour of the central location, Dow’s Lake, which is the heart of the festival. Food, entertainment, and literally millions of blooms are there to see, appreciate, and photograph.

But don’t stop there! I’ll take you to some of the out of the way beds and hidden surprises that will get you away from the tourist hordes.

The blossoms are a gift of the Dutch government in recognition of our hosting the royal family in Ottawa during WW II, and also for the Canadian troops who liberated Holland in 1945.
